St. James Participates in Kairos Prison Ministry-Christmas Packages for Virginia Correctional Center for Women
The Kairos Prison Ministry Christmas Project is an effort to provide Christmas presents to the residents of Virginia Correctional Center for Women (VCCW) in Goochland, VA. Your generosity and sacrifice on their behalf in either donating items or funds brings joy, hope, and faith in the goodness of people to these ladies. Some have never been shown such kindness in their lives.
We are collecting the following items during the month of November that will be delivered to VCCW during the Christmas Season:
Correspondence Package Items: Christmas Cards, Colored (not black) Composition Books are really needed! (no spiral or metal binding), Christmas Pencils & Regular Pencils, Stick Pen (Black or Blue ink-no click pens), 2019 Wall Calendars, Adult Coloring Books, Stationery Paper & Envelopes, Small Packs of Colored Pencils, and Puzzle Books.
Hygiene Package Items: Conditioner (larger than trial size but no larger than 16 oz. size), Shampoo (larger than trial size but no larger than 16 oz. size), Body Lotion (larger than trial size but no larger than 16 oz. size), Bar of Soap, 1 Tube of Toothpaste (In sealed box), 1 Toothbrush—Individually wrapped/boxed ONLY, one Tube of Chap Stick, Small Pack of Tissues, Stick Deodorant-NO Spray or Roll-on.
