August 21st, As you may have heard in the news, Northern VA Community College has accepted between 900-1200 Afghan refugees for emergency sheltering this weekend. Saint James and Catholic Charities are having an EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE DRIVE TODAY from 1-4 pm in B-lot on Park and Oak Streets in Falls Church City at our church. We need personal toiletry items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer), underwear, and women’s sanitary products.
