This weekend, August 28-29, we have added a second collection for Haiti. The death toll is rising and thousands are without shelter after the 7.2 earthquake struck Haiti on August 14th. Days later, Tropical Storm Grace swept over the ravaged landscape, hampering the complicated search and rescue mission. Countless others are injured and hospitals are already overwhelmed. When you give, you provide immediate assistance for our Haitian sisters and brothers desperate to survive this devastating situation. Needless to say, these disasters have severely damaged an already suffering nation. This second collection will go to the Emergency Disaster Fund of the American Bishops.
