Thank you to all who contributed to the special collection for Haiti at the end of August. Your generosity was appreciated and will help so many.
As you know, Hurricane Ida was a deadly Category 4 hurricane which caused intense damage to Louisiana and catastrophic flooding in the northeast. Many Catholic churches were damaged in the wake of the storm. Bishop Burbidge has asked all the parishes take up a special collection this weekend, September 18-19 to help the victims of Hurricane Ida. Bishop Burbidge stated, "The widespread devastation caused by Hurricane Ida is heartbreaking. As we hear about the tragic loss of life and livelihood, we are reminded of our shared humaity and reliance on God. Please pray for those impacted, their loved ones and first responders."
