Inclusion Ministry Meeting for Elderly and Disabled Parishioners-January 25th

Inclusion Ministry Meeting for Elderly and Disabled Parishioners-January 25th

The Saint James Inclusion Ministry for Parishioners who are Eldery and Disabled will be hosting a planning meeting on Tuesday, January 25th at 11:00am in the Parish House meeting room to learn more about ways we can support our parishioners who are elderly or disabled, their families, and caregivers, to allow them to engage fully at Mass and in other parish activities in an accessible, safe and welcoming environment. We are also recruiting parishioners to participate in this ministry. If you or someone you know is elderly or has a disability, we would love to hear from you. This planning meeting is for people of all ages, with or without a disability, with a focus on all disabilities such as learning disabilities, sensory issues, intellectual disabilities, vision or hearing impairments, and mobility challenges. The purpose of the meeting will be to learn about inclusion and accessibility challenges facing our parishioners that, to the extent possible, we may address as we plan our 2022 inclusion ministry.

To RSVP for the planning meeting, please contact Anne Rohall-Andrade via phone at (202) 841-3489 or via email at inclusion@stjamescatholic.org. If you are not able to attend the meeting but would like to share feedback, or if you are interested in participating in the inclusion ministry, please let Anne know. We look forward to hearing from you!
