This year, as in every year, the Bishop’s Lenten Appeal reminds us that as Disciples of Christ, we too, are “commissioned” to spread the Good News of our Lord Jesus and to care for our brothers and sisters in need. One way we can do this is by supporting the BLA, which provides over 40 programs and ministries to those in need in our diocese.
Once a year we are asked to make a commitment to support the work of our diocesan programs and ministries which provide services that no single parish could provide on its own. In 2020, we exceeded our goal as a parish by more than 20% with a record 30% participation. This year, we hope to reach our parish goal with 100 % participation.
